ATLANTA (Dec. 5, 2020) — In advance of Tuesday’s election and referendum, ¶¥¼¶¹ú²úÊÓÆµ encourages all Liberians to remain peaceful and to respect the rule of law and the international human rights of freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, and equal suffrage.
¶¥¼¶¹ú²úÊÓÆµ is honored to be a long-term partner of Liberia, and the upcoming election will be an important opportunity for the nation to advance democratic gains. The Center encourages all eligible Liberians to engage peacefully in the democratic process and calls on all parties and candidates to send a clear message to their supporters about the need for calm and a climate of peace and respect during and after the elections.
